Nokia X6 pops up on Geekbench with a Snapdragon 636 chipset on deck
The Nokia X6 has been leaking all over in the past few days with the biggest one giving us a full unobscured look at the handset's probable notch-bearing design.

However, it's a new day today and the time is ripe for another major leak, this time confirming a slew of hardware specs: the Nokia X6 was just recently spotted on popular benchmarking database Geekbench toting a Snapdragon 636 chipset alongside 6GB of RAM. So far, the Snapdragon 636 is a pretty rare sight, only being supplied in a couple of devices - the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and the Asus Zenfone 5 (2018). Scoring 1330 points in the Geekbench's single-core test and 4907 points in the multi-core one, the Snapdragon 636 hints that it wants the mid-range chipset crown, and it wants it now.

Back on the Nokia X6, we expect the device to also be available in other cheaper variants, a 3GB and a 4GB one. As far as we've heard, the cheapest 3GB one would likely start somewhere in the vicinity of CNY 1,499 or $237. Naturally, the better-spec'd versions of the phone will cost more.

As far as some other specs are concerned, the phone will likely have a 19:9, 5.84" display with a notch and a 2280 x 1080-pixel resolution, Android 8.1 out of the box, two 16MP rear cameras, and another 16MP front-facing one.

The device is expected to go official in Beijing, China, on May 16.
